As a Principal at Elite Sheet Metal Works, Joe guides system evaluation, pricing strategy, and early project planning for complex commercial and institutional work.
Joe works closely with owners, architects, and general contractors to assess constructability, detailing, and material selection—helping project teams make informed decisions that balance performance, cost, and durability. His deep familiarity with manufacturers, systems, and installation practices supports accurate estimating and coordinated execution across roofing, siding, and architectural sheet metal scopes.
Having successfully launched and grown multiple commercial construction operations, Joe brings a practical, experience-driven perspective to every project. His technical insight and disciplined approach strengthen Elite’s ability to deliver reliable solutions on demanding projects.
Edward Crowder
President
Edward Crowder brings more than four decades of hands-on experience in commercial roofing and architectural sheet metal to his role as President of Elite Sheet Metal Works. His career began in the field as a roofer and sheet metal mechanic, where he developed a deep understanding of materials, fabrication, and installation practices that continues to inform Elite’s work today.
After operating his own roofing company for several years, founded Elite Sheet Metal Works in 2000 and has been instrumental in shaping the company’s technical standards, craftsmanship, and long-term direction. His leadership is grounded in practical experience, with a focus on doing the work correctly, safely, and in a manner that supports lasting performance.
Ed’s extensive background across fabrication, installation, and project execution provides Elite with a strong technical foundation and continuity of expertise. His commitment to quality, consistency, and accountability remains central to the company’s reputation and culture.
Phil Lisak, RRO
Vice President of Operations
Phil Lisak is a construction executive with over 20 years of experience in commercial roofing, architectural sheet metal, and building envelope systems. As Vice President of Operations at Elite Sheet Metal Works, Phil oversees project execution, fabrication coordination, safety, and quality control across complex commercial and institutional projects.
Phil’s career spans field supervision, project management, and senior operations leadership, giving him a comprehensive understanding of how projects perform from design through installation. He provides hands-on oversight to ensure work is executed with clarity, coordination, and accountability—balancing constructability, schedule, and long-term performance.
A Registered Roof Observer (RRO) and Board Member of the Mid-Atlantic Roofing Contractors Association (MARCA), Phil brings a disciplined, systems-based approach to problem solving and risk management. His leadership ensures Elite’s work consistently meets technical requirements, design intent, and client expectations.
